Data
Privacy and data notice
What SIREN keeps, where, and who can see it. Plain-language notice for the pre-launch service.
- Listening
Listening, search, charts and genres need no account. The server does not record what you play.
- Playlist
Your playlist is stored in this browser and is not synced across browsers or devices, even when you are signed in.
- Account
To submit music you create an account with an e-mail address and a password. The password is hashed by the authentication service; nobody at SIREN can read it.
- Submitted files and information
Audio, cover and the information you enter are kept on the server for review and publication. Files are stored privately; the original file name is kept as information only.
- Review material
Your e-mail, private notes, file checks and admin notes are visible only to you (your own) and to admins. They are never published.
- What becomes public
Only after an admin approves and publishes a version: the artist name, titles, genres, cover and the production details marked as public.
- Reports
A report about a track goes to the admins. A contact address you add is kept private.
- Deletion
You can request account deletion in Account settings. An admin handles it and keeps the records needed to resolve open rights questions.
This notice has not been legally reviewed yet; legal review is required before public launch.
